Erin's Fall Photo Session in Hingetown

My shoot with Erin was one of my favorite sessions to date. About a week prior to our meeting and shooting, I received a DM asking about my availability for headshots that she needed pretty quickly for the upcoming week and we scheduled to do a quick session to nail those headshots down. We headed over to Hingetown, one of my favorite spots in Cleveland to shoot in (hello coffee and tea shops, wall art + a little bit of urban-inspired neighborhood cuteness all on one corner) and walked around talking and shooting! We clicked immediately and I felt like we'd known each other for years. Erin is a hair stylist in Cleveland and is in the process of opening a new salon in Ohio City which is so exciting! She's a bad ass business owner and so kind.

Erin kindly expressed how she felt comfortable in front of the camera with me and I felt overwhelmed with pride and joy that this is my job. Being able to meet new clients that turn into friends and share real laughter with them is the coolest thing ever. I told Erin that I think everyone can be "good" in front of the camera -- they just have to be comfortable in front of it first, and then their true personality comes out... and that whole process is pretty fricken cool and beautiful itself, if you ask me. I'm so glad that Erin felt comfortable shooting with me and so thankful that she told me that was the case. That type of thing makes this love I have for photography and portraiture grow every single day.

Check out Erin's beautiful face down below and follow her over on instagram at @erinfrazee to check out her magic hair skills. If you're looking to schedule a lifestyle portrait session with me, contact me here! I look forward to working with you!
